Recommended Reading & Viewing

As a programmer and consultant for over 30 years, I recognize the importance of having the right information at the right time.
The first category here is specifically the books that I keep a copy of at my office and at each customer site that I do any on-going programming. I have bought many other books. They are NOT by my desk.

The next category are books that I consider essential reading for any programmer. This is a work in progress as I review my library.

Books to round out your education are not directly programming related but give considerable insight into where we have been and where we are going.

Finally, these are the movies that I have watched at least 4 times or more.
